You may be asked to perform urine drug screening for alcohol or drugs. These include; amphetamines, benzodiazepines, cannabinoids, methamphetamines, opiates and sleeping tablets. Cannabis might stay within your body for a few days, when used daily for weeks and it can also be detected if used occasionally.
It is advised to drink at least 2 to 3 cups of water before going for urine test. If you over dilute your urine, this can be shown by determining the level of creatinine present in the urine. If the creatinine level is very low, the sample will need to be recollected for accuracy.
